“By providing balanced clauses and alternative language throughout the book, David Tollen provides a true learning experience for the reader. Too often authors address an issue but fail to educate the reader as to how the issue is resolved from a practical perspective. That is not the case here. Lawyers and non-lawyers, novices and experienced practitioners alike will benefit from Mr. Tollen’s sage advice. … In short, The Tech Contracts Pocket Guide is an excellent resource that is well worth the price.” —H. Ward Classen, author of Software Licensing for Licensees and Licensors (American Bar Association)

"David Tollen’s pithy guide both trains new hires and gives everyone a simple reference for IT contracts. Highly recommended." —David Hayden, founder of Critical Path, Archipelago LLC, and Jeteye Technologies, and cofounder of Magellan Search

practical, concise information—that is, clear directions. Written in an engaging,
accessible style, it’s the perfect tool for both nonlawyers and lawyers learning
to navigate the licensing maze." —Lawrence
